Breakfast with the New Zealand Consul-General

What a morning! The New Zealand Business Roundtable in China was elated to host our Breakfast with the New Zealand Consul-General on April 17th.

Set against a pristine morning view of Jing’An Temple, The Fire hosted us for this special gathering—providing the perfect backdrop for conversation, connection, and a standout breakfast experience.

Ardi Barnard (NZ Consul-General to Shanghai) shared timely reflections on the challenges and opportunities shaping New Zealand–China trade, while Primary Collaboration New Zealand CEO David Boyle brought his signature touch as moderator, guiding an engaging and thought-provoking discussion.

With generous support from our New Zealand member companies, including Maui, Fonterra, and Newo, guests enjoyed a beautifully curated set-course breakfast, topped off with a buffet of extra bites and beverages.

The morning brought together a vibrant mix of professionals for in-depth Q&A, meaningful networking, and fresh insights into the global trade landscape.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to our fantastic partner Kea New Zealand! We’re proud to keep fostering meaningful dialogue and stronger connections within the NZ-China business community. Stay tuned for more events to come.
